Principled leadership. Practical solutions.
Jon Mattia is running on a platform focused on community investment, transparency, affordability, and putting residents ahead of special interests.
Our Platform
Loudoun County is one of the fastest-changing communities in Virginia. Decisions made by the Board of Supervisors will shape our neighborhoods and quality of life for decades to come.
I believe the county needs leadership that is both principled and practical. That means standing up for residents, not data centers. We need responsible decision makers that protect the long-term future of Leesburg and Loudoun County.

Universal Pre-K
Right now, parents are made to choose between stretching their monthly budget to put kids in preschool, or risking their kids falling behind. I will work to change that. With universal pre-k, every parent will be able to send their kid without worrying about the hit to their finances. Not only will this help to raise our education standards, but it will also help to lift a burden off of parents.

Data Center Accountability
We need to completely rethink the county's data center policy. In recent years, the county has been cutting data center taxes, while politicians are accepting massive poliitcal "donations" from the industry. We need to raise taxes on data centers, better enforce noise ordinances, construct sound barriers, increase setbacks, underground power lines, and more.
Get Money Out of Politics
Make Government Work
Having worked for Loudoun County Government for over 38 years, I have seen what works and what doesn't. We need an inspector general that can identify waste, fraud, and abuse across different departments. We need stronger oversight over how our tax dollars are spent, so the government can work better for everyone.
Politicians should work for you, not for corporations. Jon does not take any corporate or billionaire money. Jon believes this should be the norm, not an exception. I will advocate for small dollar election matching funds and fight back against corporate takeover of our elections.

Workers & Public Employees
Parks, Recreation, Childcare & Community Services
Working for Loudoun PRCS for over 38 years, I will use my personal experience to make PRCS better for every resident. I will fight to eliminate many usage fees, lower summer camp costs, expand access to youth sports, and improve maitence standards in our parks and facilites.

Public Safety, Youth Support & Prevention
Environment & Infrastructure
I believe it is important that we take steps to lower our carbon footprint as much as possible. I support replacing Dominion Energy with a public utility, improving Loudoun Transit services and adding benches to bus stops. We must continue to invest in road repairs in older Loudoun communities in Leesburg and Sterling, to ensure they are not left behind as the county continues to expand.
We deserve a criminal justice system that puts people before politics. I will push to convert our sheriff's department to a police department to allow civil servants to run the department. We are by far the largest county in Virginia to not have a police department. I will also work to get Fock Cameras out of the county, end cooperation with ICE, and promote violence prevention programs.

Education
It is essential that we continue to invest in education and the next generation. I will continue to invest in public schools for the county. We will advocate for more teachers and better teacher salaries over more admin positions. I will continue the counties strong investment in special education to continue to ensure that every student has access to a quality public education that works for them.
Economic Development
As a long time small business owner, I have felt firsthand many of the challenges of running a small business in Loudoun. I will push to cut unnecessary fees and red tape for small businesses. In addition to this, I will make sure that our government agencies are well staffed to help provide better and quicker responses.

Support The Town of Leesburg
I will work to increase county funding to the town of Leesburg and to help ensure that service quality to the town does not fall behind the rest of the county. I will increase support to the town and work closely with the council to improve residence quality of life.
Housing
Housing in Loudoun is quickly becoming a luxury that is out of reach of the average working family. I will work to change that. I will push for upzoning around Metro stations, increasing supply for the Affordable Dwelling Unit program, and supporting the development of more workforce housing.
