A lifelong commitment to Leesburg and Loudoun.

MEET JON

Jon Mattia is a public servant, community advocate, and candidate for the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors in the Leesburg District.

Meet Jon

Jon Mattia has spent his life focused on service, community, and making local government work better for the people it serves.

Through his years of public service at Douglass Community Center and community work, Jon has seen firsthand how local decisions affect neighborhoods, small businesses, and residents who simply want a fair chance to build a good life in Loudoun County.

Jon believes local government should be accountable to the people that live here. It should invest in public services, protect neighborhoods, plan responsibly, and make sure growth benefits the community, not large corporations and special interests.

He is running for the Board of Supervisors because Leesburg deserves independent leadership that is willing to ask hard questions, challenge the status quo, and put residents first.

Why Jon Is Running

Loudoun County is changing quickly. Some of that growth has brought opportunity, but it has also created serious challenges: rising costs, traffic, pressure on public services, expanding data center development, and growing frustration from residents who feel ignored.

Jon is running because Leesburg deserves a supervisor that is present in the community and answers directly to the people that live here. We are committed to listening to residents and remaining funded by small dollar donations.

  • Make data centers pay their fair share

  • Invest in parks, childcare, recreation, and community programs

  • Expand housing affordability

  • Protect neighborhoods and quality of life

  • Increase transparency in local government

  • Reduce the influence of corporate money in local politics

  • Free Pre-K for all Loudoun families

That means listening to residents, showing up, explaining decisions clearly, and being willing to stand up when something is wrong. Jon is not running to represent corporations, developers, or special interests. He is running to represent the people of Leesburg.

Personal Commitment

"Local government should work for the people who live here."

Employment / Ethics Statement

Jon understands that public trust matters. Because he has worked in local public service, he takes questions of ethics and accountability seriously. If elected, Jon has committed to resigning from his county employment before taking office so he can serve the residents of the Leesburg District with independence, rigor and integrity.

Jon is ready to fight for a county government that listens, plans responsibly, and puts people first.
