Won't we become dependent on this revenue?

We should never rely on a single source of revenue. My plan doesn't permanently expand government - it reduces and eliminates fees and invests in infrastructure. If revenue from data centers ever declines, future Boards can reinstate fees at appropriate levels to balance the budget.

What about other businesses?

The tax on computer equipment applies to many businesses under the current state law. My plan includes using a portion of the additional revenue for grants and programs to support our local small businesses, while we work with our state delegation to change the law to allow a separate rate for data centers.
